Forensics Day

posted Jan 9, 2019, 4:23 AM by Theresa Mills

Is this week Saturday! Woot!

Here is the skinny -
Everyone bring a snack to share: chips and dip, chips and salsa, hummus, raw vegetables, granola bars, cookies, brownies, water bottles, juice boxes, etc. The TEAM will provide pizza for lunch at 12:30.

The morning will be filled with four different breakout sessions. Everyone will attend all four sessions on a rotating schedule.

We will break at 12:30 for lunch where we will share a highlight from our forensics experience and a learning opportunity we have encountered.

At 1:30 there will be time to work. Angela McMillan will be here to help with visuals. Coaches will be available to discuss options and plans with you. The expectation is that you will set an obtainable goal that can be accomplished by 3:30 on Saturday afternoon. At 3:30 we will reconvene in Mrs. Mills' room to debrief and hear general announcements.

We look forward to seeing you on Saturday.

Here's the TEAM! And a fine looking TEAM at that!

posted Dec 10, 2018, 2:01 PM by Theresa Mills   [ updated Dec 10, 2018, 2:05 PM ]

Below you will find the TEAM as determined by the coaches on Sunday,December 9. We did our VERY best to give everyone their first choice, but there were some exceptions.

IF you are unhappy with where you have been placed, please come and talk to me. If you approach another coach, he or she will listen and then tell you, "Go and talk to Mrs. Mills."

You should be hearing from a coach in the next couple of days to touch base and offer some things to think about as we approach the holiday season.

Remember, Forensics Day is January 12. Our first competition is February 23. Both of these dates will be here before we know it. Don't wait until the last minute to get started. Begin now!

Here's to a GREAT season!
